The Comics
 | Yet another thrilling tale of hoe Cyke and Jean managed to regain Peter Rasputin's lost faith in the X-Men and Xaviers ideals. As they thoguht they had failed at talking him into comming back, they left rather dissapointed. However unexpectidly Peter come to realize that peopel really do need his help and he volunteers himself to retrieve a marooned submarine at the bottom of the sea. Meanwhile Xavier and the res tof the team, with a little help from S.T.R.I.K.E. are searching for Xaviers powerful son, who is fleeing accross Eurpoe leaving behind much destruction. As for the art in this issue, I am sorry to announce there was a guest penciler on this issue. Don't let the cover fool you. Despite Kubert and Isanove's wicked cover art Kubert did certainly tno do the rest of the comic. THough the art has its moments it isn't really great and too me it just doesn't suit the Ultimate title. |
 | In this issue we begin with the half sister Mystique and Martinique arguing over control of the situation as Banshee lies on the floor in a pool of his own blood at X-Corps. H.Q. While M, Iceman and Warren whip across Paris France trying to round up renegade helicopter pilots once under the control of X-Corps. that are destroying the city. As Stacy X and other members of X-Corps are bring down Blob, we see that back at H.Q. Banshee isn't dead yet, and of all the people to come to his rescue it is non other then a strange mutant boy, brought to X-Corps weeks ago when he was found using his unusual vortex like abilities to an extent he was uncapapable of controling. Opening up the vortex he pulls Mystique into it but still no having full control over his powers his plan is almost ruined when he begins to pull Banshee in as well. Finally Banshee is found by some members of X-Corps he is taken into hospital where it is reported he will recover. As it seems things are all wrapped up once again, the whereabouts of Kurt and Starsmore is still unknown. |
